Exodus: Gods and Kings Trailer

This time… it’s biblical!

So Ridley Scott is back in stonking great epic territory with a film that brings Prometheus/Blade Runner levels of sweeping vastness with a Gladiator-esque sand soaked backdrop.

The story tells the classic tale of Moses demanding the Pharaoh Ramses to free the slaves (“Let my people goooooo!”), which of course leads to plagues and giant waves and lots of bloody scraps.

There is a great sense of scale to the trailer, with Scott’s use of enormous practical sets giving a great old school epic feel to the clip. Although saying that there’s also a bucket load of CGI; something for everyone so they say…

Exodus: Gods and Kings is out on Boxing Day, so don’t forget your foil wrapped turkey and stuffing sandwiches!

James is a movie obsessive with a particular love for scores and screenplays. He has written for numerous blogs, sites and cinemas and has been involved in several screenwriting projects. He can usually be found in front of a large plasma screen devouring Westerns, 80s pulp, Jimmy Stewart movies or anything by the Coens.
