First of all thanks to a couple of close friends for directing me to this video earlier today. And when I say thanks I actually mean I hate you. I’m writing this alone in my flat and now I’m looking anxiously at the dark corners of the room. The fact that I found out about this film at a Christening also makes the aforementioned friends that bit more disturbed.
At less than 3 minutes this horror film from director David Sandberg still manages to find enough space to breathe and deliver masses of tension, as well as some fresh and original scares that will at the very least send a shiver down your spine, and at the most will have you heading for some clean pants.
If you think you can take it, watch it in the dark with headphones cranked up. Trust me when I say that is a massive dare. Here we go:
That the film won ‘Best Director’ at the Bloody Cuts Horror Challenge, judged by none other than cult movie maestro Joe Dante among others, is testament to its already obvious greatness. I’m guessing this won’t be the last we see of Mr Sandberg. And I can’t wait to see what happens next.
