X-Men: Days of Future Past – New Trailer

X-Men: Days of Future Past is due for release in May, so you can expect the promotional machine to start ramping up over the coming weeks. With this in mind there is a new trailer doing the rounds which gives a better look at the long awaited movie debut of the Sentinals. Sadly they look a little more I-Robot than Iron Giant, but hopefully their sheer numbers will go some way to providing a genuine threat to the mutant heroes.

Would it really hurt to have included Gambit? That’s the question I ask with every new X-Men film. And no, in case you’re wondering, I don’t count Taylor Kitsch’s iteration in the first Wolverine film for two reasons: 1, the film was garbage and 2, it was little more than a cameo. When will the film world realise that now is the time for a womanising, gambling, explosively charged Cajun to take centre stage? I can but wish.

Take it easy, we love Gambit too.

James is a movie obsessive with a particular love for scores and screenplays. He has written for numerous blogs, sites and cinemas and has been involved in several screenwriting projects. He can usually be found in front of a large plasma screen devouring Westerns, 80s pulp, Jimmy Stewart movies or anything by the Coens.
